Completion of CCC 2-Day Workshop

This course presents the core curriculum for the Seven Steps to Knowledge, Strength, and Compassion that was developed at Tara Redwood School. After 20 years of practice, this curriculum emerged as an integrated approach to help ignite the wish in the hearts of children to be kind and wise. Emphasizing the ideas of mindfulness, interconnection of all beings, the nature of change, how perception creates our reality, how we can transform harmful emotions, and the development of empathy and compassion, this course provides a guide to empowering you and the children in your life to make a positive difference in the world. We explore practical tools and methodologies developed at Tara Redwood School and allow time for group innovation to create new ideas and activities based on the Seven Steps.

Completion of CCC Online Training Program

This twelve-month online training program for educators, counselors, therapists, and parents will provide the knowledge necessary to implement the Seven Steps to Knowledge, Strength, and Compassion in schools, counseling, therapy, and the home. Certification requires participants, engage in daily mindfulness & reflection practices, read CCC content & supplementary material, view videos, complete assignments and participate in forums.

Completion of CCC Apprenticeship Program

The CCC Apprenticeship program offers participants the opportunity to experience CCC first hand in a certified CCC school environment. Through on-site observations, consultation, and reflection, interns will be supported and well prepared to complete the final portion of their research project. If you are applying CCC methodology to programs other than those working with children, please contact CCC at This email address is being protected from spambots. Over the years, friends in our global community have brought their knowledge and creativity to the children of Tara Redwood School.  One intern skilled in the textile arts created an exquisite wool quilt which was later sold to generate funds for scholarships. Another guided children to write, sing, illustrate and record songs embodying their understanding of CCC. Others have designed, planned, and presented CCC integrated curriculum to various age groups in the classroom. These projects reflect each intern’s unique talents and experience within a CCC context. Interns will have the support and guidance of a CCC consultant to find a project which will draw on the intern’s experience and complement the ongoing program at Tara Redwood School.
